Front end clunking and rear end rattle
Hey guys - I am completely new to this forum and also a new Chevy Equinox owner. Purchased a used 2014 LT 4 cyl back in November. I am having an issue with it and the dealer cant even seem to find the problem. However I have several issues but here is what I got.
1.The front passenger side makes a creaking and clunking noise when driving over uneven/bumpy roads (I live in the city). They don't know whats causing it (I am actually waiting on a GM engineer to come look at the car.)
2.There rear Driver's wheel makes a knocking sound and feels like has some looseness when hitting bumps. They replaced Sway Bar links on both sides. Still not fixed.
3. In warmer weather and/or after driving for a bit. when braking I get a consistent clunk as the car slows. They replaced rotors and hubs, still not fixed.
I am not a mechanic by no means, and I am reaching out for help and any input. At first I wanted to blame the car, but I know enough people with 2012 & up 'Nox's without my issues. I am a firm believer that the mechanics just do not know how to fix it but I am in a spot where they are responsible. My question to anyone is, Does anyone have any idea what can be causing any of these issues? Any input would help, as I have been dealing with this since November and been in about 8 rental cars since. Just ant to end it.
