Recently got a CEL with error code U0109 which is a problem with the fuel pump control module. The part is pretty cheap and it seems like a pretty easy, straightforward fix. I'm just not sure where the module is mounted on the Terrains. Anyone know? I have a 2012 v6 if that matters. Thanks

I think he means you will have to remove the left rear cargo area side panel . . .  over the inner left (driver side) rear fender.

It comes off fairly easily. Find a starting point to slip you fingers behind. ..  and start pulling to release the plastic fasteners. Using a plastic pry tool to get started is best. You may have to "hunt" around the edge of the panel to find a spot that pops loose easiest to get started in the removal.

OK, thanks. I wasn't sure. I have just seen info on other model cars and trucks that show the module being mounted under the spare tire

Let me see I may have a picture of that with the panel off. .  .

Edit . . I think the fuel pump controller is where the red arrow is pointing.

Picture is a little small to be 100% sure. But that does look like the part. This was very helpful. Thanks

JayT's pic with the red arrow is the correct one.
It bolts to the floor and has a 16 pin connector attached to it.

One last piece of info, the 2014 GM Service Manual states that if you replace the fuel pump control module it must be programed.
Don't know if the 2012 is the same.
